Victoria Salinas

Victoria Salinas is a NOAA CCME Graduate Scholar completing a M.S. in Ocean, Coastal, and Earth Sciences at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Victoria Salinas is conducting research in the area of Black Coral (antipatharians) Artificial Reefs under the supervision of Dr. Hicks. Her thesis title is "Growth and reproduction studies of black corals (antipatharians): South Texas".

She will be participating in a NERTO experience at with Dr. Cheryl Woodley at the NOAA NOS Stressor Detection and Impacts Division (SDI). NERTO title: Developing propagation techniques for the black wire coral, Stichopathes lutkeni for NOAA CCME Graduate Scholar Victoria Salinas.
